It all started on Halloween 2006 when I sewed my very first costume: Sailor Jupiter. I had always wanted to be a Sailor Scout and finally for Halloween, I borrowed my mum's sewing machine, asked for her help and made my first costume. Then May 2007 I went to my first anime convention and participated in my first Masquerade wearing an improved version of my Sailor Jupiter costume, and having made a Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Tuxedo Mask costume for three of my friends. We didn't win, but it began my cosplay hobby.
Well, eight years and some fifty-five costumes later, here I am in 2014 still going cosplay strong.
Why Evil Queen Cosplay?
Given the choice between good versus evil, I always pick evil. Given the choice between princess versus queen, I'd want to be a queen. And given the choice to be normal versus cosplayer, I'd want to be a cosplayer. Interestingly enough, I don't actually have a costume for the Evil Queen, but it is on my list.
